In 2011, Lou’s Tires celebrated its 25th anniversary and was recognized by the Port Colborne / Wainfleet

Chamber of Commerce with a certificate of Recognition in front of 200 loyal customers. A lot has

changed over the course of our 27-year history in Wainfleet. From humble beginnings in the driveway of

Lou Bonifero, to the 5000 square foot facility built to accommodate a transport truck and trailer in 1991.

Lou’s daughter Jody took over the business in 2009 after learning the family business from a young age,

spending most of her time at the shop after school and on weekends learning the tricks of the trade.

 

One thing hasn’t changed; we will always enjoy the personal relationships our business affords us. We

were thrilled to be awarded the Business of the Quarter award from the Port Colborne / Wainfleet

Chamber of Commerce in 2001 and 2012. In 2011 and 2012, we were honoured to be nominated by our

community for the Business of the Year award.
